St Theresa Day Care was founded in 2001 after Elisabeth noticed how many young children were on the street on a daily basis. She founded the St Theresa day care and currently looks after 61 children from birth to 6 years old - keeping them off the streets during the day. The children are not only kept safe but they are also fed healthy meals 3 times a day and given the educational foundation that they will need for grade one. She hopes for the centre to grow to be able to assist more children.
